1. Trail Build
  2. Tom Brown, Cadillac, & Piney Z Area

Cuban Air Lines - April 2011

This build was follow up to the 2009 Sherwood Forest build near the far east end of East Cadillac Trail. Cuban Air Lines GPS track. 1) Tabletop ramp and transition dirt has been removed and replaced with wood. Even easier to maintain enough speed to clear the tabletop, and no erosion. 2) The drop's "anti-faceplant" ramp at the top may still be easily cleared if ridden with enough speed. It now has a more gradual tranny which may be rolled/manualed if desired. Faceplanting at the top should now require a more determined effort. Design/build plans courtesy Tim Murphy. • Jose and Tim were experimenting with a four sided stone wheel. Easier rolling than the triangle, but it's still a bit rough. Next up: the pentagon. And so it goes...
