Flrunners.com MS T&F State Championship 2006

714 photos have been uploaded. Having trouble navigating all these photos? You might try changing the gallery "style" (top right) to "all thumbs." Once you click on a thumnail of interest, you might switch to "journal" style. That'll give you a group with any captions I've put up. You may calculate splits using each photo's exif data, simple subtraction. Welcome to our Flrunners.com community guests! Thanks Jason, for that link from this page: http://www.milesplit.com/article/9582 Folks, please be aware these shots are posted free for your viewing pleasure. If you don't have a photo ink jet printer, by all means buy from the SmugMug folks - they're great. (I don't receive compensation from any of your purchases, though I could set it up that way.) If you wish to give a donation, how 'bout support Jason's kid-based effort here: http://flrunners.milesplit.com/donations.php I will, as always, run out of steam before captioning many of these 714 shots. I'm doing some splits, but you may figure your own (and check my math) by using each photo's exif data. Feel free to email (don't hide your identity) if you have any positive ID/info you'd like me to add. Results and other meet info: http://www.milesplit.com/meet/14737 Please send limitless quantities of praise (and why not cash, so he can put on more meets like this) to Meet creator Jason Byrne jason@flrunners.com Again, you may donate to help Flrunners.com efforts here: http://flrunners.milesplit.com/donations.php You may also post written praise here: http://forums.milesplit.com/topics.php?forum=Florida Jason's also the creator of www.milesplit.com and www.flrunners.com These entities have played an important role in raising the interest level of kids in the sport, as well as attracting and keeping new kids involved. Bolles School's Dan Dearing has been at the race day helm from the beginning. These guys, and the rest of the cast of volunteers deserve way more thanks than I can begin to give here. In a time when Grumpy and Misguided Old Men in charge of our state's scholastic athletics are doing their best to drive kids away from the sport, these folks show 'em how to treat kids with respect. Jason and Dan have the priorities straight. But maybe that's just my opinion. Running event order was: 4X400m 3000m 100h (30"G/33"B) 100m 1500m 4X100m 400m 200h (30" G&B; spacing: 20m to 1st hurdle, 35m between 5 hurdles, 40m to finish) 800m 200m 4X800m Field events contested were: LJ, TJ, SP, Disc, HJ, PV.
