Bolles T&F Bulldog Classic 2006
855 shots taken before/during/after the meet are now posted. Files numbered 1061-1377 are highly compressed after processing. I may reload some of them at higher resolution. Meanwhile, if you calculate splits from exif data on these, be sure to work from the time taken/digitized, NOT the time modified. Otherwise, you'll get some world record splits!
I've quick Photoshopped (yes, it's a verb now) many of the really dark shots. Somebody yell at me to change my white balance when we get under the lights, ok?
My latest in a long list of excuses as to abysmal photo quality:
Total nutrients ingested during the meet - One Clif Bar, two Red Bulls, one Rock Star. Don't try this at home. The caffeine's apparently a Ritalin substitute for me.

The Nikon lens' VR helps a bit with the shakes.
As I related in the www.flrunners.com forum:
Many thanks to:
1) hosts Tony Ryan and Dan Dearing for allowing me access to the track to get these shots,
2) the continuing kindness of Chiles HS parent Michael Lake. I was whining about maybe filling my camera's now puny 1GB CF card before the meet ended. He reached into his camera bag to loan me a spare 1GB. Got me through with room to spare!
3) the awesome spectacle of competitor coaches filling in the gaps to make sure this popular meet went off as planned. Through the chaos, I really saw nothing but cooperation amongst the alpha types to figure a way through. Way to step it up for the kids, guys and gals.
There's much more, and I have to go look at how bad some of those evening photos look now.
