Lafayette Heritage Trail ~3 - 7 revision
Revision to the west end of Lafayette Heritage Trail. The new segment measures ~790m, a 430m gain over the segment it replaces. When these shots were snapped, the tread had been freshly created. In other words, it was soft, debris-strewn and not ready for prime time.
This photo tour begins on the new segment near trail marker 3 and heads up to near trail marker 7. We then reverse directions, showing the same trail on the way down. We then head up the old trail and back down, ~3 to 7 to 3.
First up, a map depicting the new v. old.
Video pretty much duplicates the still photos. Start with the new trail, head up and back. Then head up the "to be closed" trail segment and back down.
