NOTE: No planned ride for Sunday, 18 October. That would be in the middle of the big MTB race weekend at Tom Brown Park. It'll be FSC #4. Come out and watch the races Saturday evening and Sunday. Bike Handling Skills clinic Saturday at 1pm. I plan to snap a couple thousand or so photos out on the course during the races. Also plan to help Dave with setup leading up to the races. SUNDAY BEGINNER RIDES ARE SUSPENDED until Thursday, 18 March 2010 (7:47pm sunset) when we can enjoy the return of DST. In the meantime stay tuned for possible monthly epic offroad rides... If anyone else will enthusiastically lead these weekly beginner oriented MTB rides lemme know! 11 October ride notes: Six of us - Jeff, Miriem, Amanda, Breck, Beth and me met at the St. Mark Bike Trail parking lot 10am Sunday to ride a Munson and Twilight Zone sampler. Jeff Ward rode lead while I trailed and shot snaps. It was a beautiful ride. Munson/TZ benefited from the previous day's rain. Things are in bloom and it's gorgeous out there. We headed up Paper Cup and cut over to the North Bench of Tall Pine Shortcut. TPS to the South Bench. Anticlockwise on Munson over to the Luge, then to the West Connector. South to Twilight Zone. Anticlockwise on TZ till we punched out at the J. Lewis Hall TH. Water break there, then home on the St. Marks Trail. Just a little short of 12M. Perfect!
