Classy Tallahassee Bikini Bicyclist Fan Club Meet & Greet
RECENT NEWS:
28 July: I have this netbook computer ready to give to Richard. He'll be able to communicate with the group and enjoy a virtual life as he sees fit from "on the road."
AUGUST update on Richard's computer. I've been unsuccessful getting the computer to Richard. If anyone can contact him to arrange a meetup, I'd appreciate it. Failing that, the netbook may be "repurposed." Thanks!

We spent a couple hours with Richard Irby, the speedy Speedo-clad cyclist, at Helen's Silver Bullet Diner.
Speaking of Speedos, apparently there's a National Speedo crisis in Ireland.
Photos 57-126: MONDAY, 29 June at 6pm, we met at the Corner Pocket Bar & Grill. A pro videographer and photographer documented, and St. Pete Times and Tallahassee Democrat reporters interviewed Richard and the gang.
(Re the Monday photos, please be kind - all the Monday photos were shot in a typically dark bar, no flash, hand held, f/3.5-5.6 zoom (instead of the 50mm f/1.8 conveniently forgotten at home). Shot at ISO 1600 to reduce blur - but then you've got grain. Just 'shop anything that needs major tweaking with some magic Adobe filter and maybe this for the digital grain, m'kay? I did a crude tweak job on 7 of the worst photos. Left the originals, so you may DIY.)

Thanks so much to Richard, Facebook group creator Whitney Fruge, Brian Ramos (group VP, commemorative posters!), and Allan Porostovsky for the custom t-shirts! Some $250 was donated Sunday toward a new bike for Richard. (Monday's meetup more than doubled the total.) Richard is a super great guy who deserves our support.
Be sure to sign up at the group Facebook page, and stay tuned for more photos and fun.
