17 September Cubanless MagLab Beginner Ride

The Cuban MagLab Higher Ground Beginner Rides: You need not be Cuban, MagLab, Higher Ground, nor Beginner to participate. Show up and ride with us! NEXT RIDE: NOT ON THURSDAY!!! Wednesday, 23 September, 6:30pm, Forestmeadows. Sunset at 7:32, so we need to get it rolling promptly. Next Thursday, 24 September via Ken Foster is a "Tallahassee Mountain Bike Association meetup: Our first fall meeting will be held Thursday September 24th, 7:30 pm at the midtown location of Uptown Café on Magnolia at Miccosukee." 17 September ride report: Rain all day, and rain at go time thinned the ranks to the bone. But Steve showed up, then Taylor's gang arrived. Steve knows the complete truth. I was about to bail on the ride and just do a trail run till the rest of the gang showed up. Away we went, slip sliding away...East Cadillac highside, the HoD, East Levee, East Cadillac lowside, Loblolly 1-9, West Cadillac 24C-1C, and return to Piney Z via Lafayette Heritage Trail as darkness and rain fell. Four measly photos were all I managed to salvage from this slop-fest. But we got it in the book!
